  • NOAA Ship Ferdinand R. Hassler has completed the processing of all their 2022 field season data, which has been submitted to the Atlantic Hydrographic Branch.  
  • NOAA Ship Ferdinand R. Hassler has concluded their field season and is alongside in New Castle, NH.

Looking Forward

  • The ship is navigating through a few outstanding items associated with their winter repair package and looking forward to resuming operations in the Spring.

THOMAS JEFFERSON

  • The NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson has concluded their field season and is alongside MOC-A.
  • The ship processed data acquired on project OPR-W386-TJ-22.
  • The ship completed their second day of alongside ORT on 17FEB2023.

Looking Forward

  • Thomas Jefferson will continue processing data acquired on project OPR-W386-TJ-22 while working alongside MOC-A.
  • TJ Launch 2903 will begin HSRR.
  • The ship is scheduled to get underway for ORT on 23FEB2023.

Recap

  • The R/V Oyster Bay II conducted survey operations on 12FEB2023 through 16FEB2023. Full or partial weather delays were encountered on 17FEB2023 and 18FEB2023.

Looking Forward

  • Survey operations on the R/V Oyster Bay II will be shut down on 19FEB2023 until 05MAR2023 to process data to verify final coverage and identify any holidays requiring fill.
  • Data Processing ongoing in the Newport, RI Data Center and Field Office.
