  • The NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson processed data acquired on projects OPR-W386-TJ-22 and OPR-W387-TJ-22, while working alongside MOC-A for dockside repairs.

Looking Forward

  • Thomas Jefferson will continue processing data acquired on projects OPR-W386-TJ-22 and OPR-W387-TJ-22 while working alongside MOC-A.  Dockside repair package commences 07NOV2022 and is ongoing until 23DEC2022. 

Fairweather

OPR-L397-FA-22 Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and OPR-M328-FA-22 EXPRESS 

Recap:

  • NOAA Ship Fairweather began multibeam acquisition on OPR-L397-FA-22 in the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary, opening sheets H13692 and H12556.

Looking Forward

  • NOAA Ship Fairweather will complete sheets H13692 and H12556 before heading into port to shelter from an incoming storm. 
  • Fairweather will transit to the EXPRESS survey area on 08NOV2022 and begin acquisition shortly after. 

RAINIER

  • NOAA Ship Rainier has concluded their field season and is alongside in San Francisco.

 OPR-E347-KR-22 Central Chesapeake Bay, MD

Recap

  •  The 30’ vessel R/V Oyster Bay II continued survey operations all week.
  • The R/V Sea Innovator I was in port until 02NOV2022 processing data to verify quality and coverage from the main scheme data acquired to date.
  • The R/V Sea Innovator I re-commenced survey operations on various sheets starting on 02NOV2022.

Looking Forward

  • Continue survey operations on the R/V Oyster Bay II.
  • Continue survey and data analysis and holiday/gap assessments on the R/V Sea Innovator I. It is forecast that the R/V Sea Innovator I will be close to concluding the survey phase for the vessel by the end of this week.
