  • NOAA Ship Ferdinand R. Hassler continued survey ops on H13601 which is 100% complete.
  • Squared off H13599 for the end of the field season and collected remaining holidays.

  • Commenced transit to New Castle, NH for the winter.

  • Scheduled repair period commences 17OCT2022 to 30NOV2022.
  • Continue processing the remainder 2022 surveys.

THOMAS JEFFERSON

OPR-W386-TJ-22 Approaches to Cleveland, OH

Recap
  • The NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson completed acquisition on OPR-W386-TJ-22 acquiring on sheets H13672, H13673, and H13674. The ship commenced its transit to Norfolk, VA on 12OCT2022 through the St. Lawrence Seaway.

 OPR-E347-KR-22 Central Chesapeake Bay, MD

Recap

  •  The 30’ vessel R/V Oyster Bay II continued survey operations. Sheet decisions were based on weather conditions. Delays were incurred on 13OCT2022 and part of 14OCT2022 due to vessel generator problems. Survey was resumed on 14OCT2022.
  • Survey continued on R/V Sea Innovator I on Sheet 6 (H13516) from 09OCT2022 through 13OCT2022. The vessel moved to Sheet 1 (H13511) on 13OCT2022.  Weather deterioration resulted in a shift from Sheet 1 (H13511) to Sheet 2 (H13512) on 15OCT2022.

  • Continue survey operations on the R/V Oyster Bay II.
  • Continue survey operations on the R/V Sea Innovator I and the vessel will make a port call on 17OCT2022.
