Ruth L. Kirschstein Individual National Research Service Award (F31 and F32) grants as well as Career Development (K01 & K23) grants which have significantly suffered (above and beyond lost research productivity that most individuals experienced) due to COVID-19 related shutdowns, may be eligible for extensions as per NOT-OD-21-052. Continuing COVID-related Opportunities

NOSI: Research strategies and interventions to address vaccine hesitancy, uptake, and implementation among populations who experience health disparities in the U.S., especially in populations at increased risk for morbidity and mortality due to long-standing systemic health and social inequities and chronic medical conditions. The next deadline is June 5, 2021.

Requests for Information

UNITE

A new NIH initiative called UNITE has been established to identify and address structural racism within the NIH-supported and the greater scientific community. Input is requested through a Request for Information by April 9, 2021. An NIH webpage on Ending Structural Racism describes NIH’s efforts, actions, policies, and procedures to increase our transparency on this important issue.
