The back-to-school season is shaping up to be like none other, and parents have questions. How do you keep kids safe? Why is it safe for children 12 and up to get COVID-19 vaccines?
Get some answers from Dr. Jaime Deville, member of the CEAL Scientific Pathway, pediatrician and clinical professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, who has been studying vaccines for more than 20 years and recently served as a safety monitor for a COVID-19 vaccines and treatments trial.

New from the Urban Indian Health Institute
The Urban Indian Health Institute has released its COVID-19 data dashboard and Urban Indian Organization (UIO) Service Area Site Reports, both of which contain information on COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, deaths, and data quality among American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN). These tools highlight the disproportionate impact COVID-19 has on urban AI/AN communities and can be used to address disparities and improve data quality.

Subject matter experts and community leaders Dr. Alice Chen, Dr. Paul Han, Dr. William Keh, Dr. Katya Corado, and Dr. Gbenga Ogedegbe will discuss back to school vaccine strategies, address vaccine myths, and more.
