In honor of National Farmworker Awareness Week, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) hosted a virtual discussion on protecting farmworkers from COVID-19.
CHC Chair Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D., and CHC member and former farmworker Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia moderated a discussion with NIH’s Anthony Fauci, M.D., and Eliseo Pérez-Stable, M.D.; U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack; United Farm Workers President Teresa Romero; and Lideres Campesinas Board President Emeritus and Alianza Nacional de Campesinas Executive Director Mily Treviño-Sauceda.
