Co-hosted by the Divisions of Cancer Prevention and Cancer Biology, invited experts will explore key topics including the microenvironment, microbiome, and systems biology to advance strategies for carcinogenesis reversion.

Cancer Prevention Fellowship Application Season is Open

The National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program (CPFP) is accepting applications for our 2027 postdoctoral research fellow cohort.

New for 2027: In addition to accepting applications from U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents, CPFP is also accepting applications from citizens of World Bank classified low- or lower-middle-income countries.

AACR Collection on Prevention and Early Detection Recent Research

This collection of recently published articles from American Association of Cancer Research journals highlights advances across the broad spectrum of research that is cancer prevention and detection. Call for Nominations – Early Career Scientist Opportunity

DCP Early Career Scientists Call for Nominations

The NCI Division of Cancer Prevention is issuing a call for nominations to feature early career scientists conducting research within the mission of the Division.

NCI will feature selected investigators on DCP’s website and social media. Selected Investigators will also be invited to present their research to the broad NCI community through the DCP Early Career Scientist Spotlight Research Seminar Series. The overall goal is to increase visibility and provide recognition to the early career scientists conducting research within the areas supported by DCP.

Nominations are due July 31, 2026.
