The DCP Early Career Scientist Spotlight Research Seminar Series was created to highlight nominated early career scientists who are advancing research within the areas supported by DCP. Dr. Fan Zhang, Ph.D., assistant professor in the department of pharmaceutics at the University of Florida, will give the first talk, titled, “Tuning the organ-selectivity of mRNA expression through dendrimer-based lipid nanoparticles.”

The Building Bridges in Cancer Symptom Science webinar series aims to foster collaboration and unite efforts of the interdisciplinary field of researchers and clinicians in cancer symptom science to move the science forward.

In this kick-off webinar, Dr. Patricia A. Ganz, distinguished professor of health policy and management and medicine, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and David Geffen School of Medicine, and director of the Center for Cancer Prevention and Control Research at the UCLA-Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, will give a keynote address on the state of symptom science research.
