NIH-funded Study Finding: Risk of Lymphoma Higher in Celiac Disease Patients with Ongoing Intestinal Damage
People with celiac disease who had persistent intestinal damage—also called villous atrophy—had a higher risk of lymphoma compared with those who had intestinal healing.
