FMMI Upgrade Preparation
Hello, FMMI users!
The FMMI upgrade is scheduled to go-live on Wednesday (2/19). In order to prepare for this upcoming change, please familiarize yourself with the information provided below.
Will FMMI have a blackout period or system downtime?
-
Yes, FMMI will be unavailable to all users beginning Thursday (2/13) at 6pm CT through Wednesday (2/19).
-
Note that the timeline may be extended. We will communicate with you throughout cutover on any timing changes, and we will send a message to all FMMI end users once the new system is live.
What should I do to prepare for cutover?
-
User Provisioning Freeze – Be aware that beginning Thursday (1/30), no user access requests will be accepted. This includes requesting changes to access for existing users or setting up new users. The ability to create GRC access requests will be restored after system go-live. Please either submit requests in advance of the freeze or wait to submit the request until after the freeze. If you have any questions, reach out to Tim Howell.
-
Master Data Requests –
-
Customer & Vendor Master Data Requests – Please submit any PVNDs for customer and vendor maintenance requests by Tuesday (2/11) at 3pm CT, or be prepared to submit them after go-live on Wednesday (2/19).
-
Non-Vendor Master Data Maintenance Requests – Any Non-Vendor Master Data Elements (NVMDE) requests submitted after Wednesday (2/12) at 3pm CT will not be processed until Wednesday (2/19), and will be processed in the order that they are received.
-
Transactions in Systems that Interface with FMMI – Some systems that interface with FMMI will be unavailable during cutover. Others will be online, but transactions to FMMI may be delayed. For a full list of impacts to systems that interface with FMMI, please see this table. (The table is also viewable on the FIET webpage.)
-
GTAS Reporting – GTAS Reporting may not be available during the cutover period. Please plan to complete as much reporting as possible before cutover begins on Thursday (2/13) at 6pm.
-
Workflows – Complete as many workflows as possible before Thursday (2/13). Workflows include any processes that involve the request or approval of functional documents. Take note of any items that cannot be completed as they will need to be reinitiated in the new system.
-
Favorites – Think about what transactions you’ll want to add as favorites in the new system. We recommend favoriting your most frequently used transactions/tiles in Fiori for ease of access.
