FACES OF FIET: Key Player Spotlight
Each month, get to know the devoted minds driving FIET's success. Each edition will spotlight one of the individuals who make our team extraordinary. Learn about their roles, experiences, and what fuels their excitement for FIET.
Meet FIET Project key player, Kristie Guidry!
How long have you been with USDA/FMS? I’ve been with UDSA/FMS for 15 years.
What is your role in FMS? I’m the Director of the Reporting, Reconciliation and Analysis Division.
|
What is your role on the FIET Project? My division handles many different processes—accounting master data, vendor/customer/business partners, CARS reporting, cash and property reconciliation, a wide range of financial reporting and analysis—so I get the opportunity to contribute to the project on these topics.
What are you most excited about regarding FIET or S/4HANA? I think my favorite thing will ultimately be the Universal Journal, but it will be quite the learning curve at first.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done?Ziplining through the mountains in Jamaica. I’m deathly afraid of heights, so I’m still shocked I went through with it.
What does your ideal weekend look like? Traveling to baseball fields to watch my son play or at a dance competition watching my daughter perform. They both have a great passion for their sports, so it fills my heart to watch them do what they love.
Do you have any pets? We just added a German Shorthaired Pointer named Nola to the family a few weeks ago. It’s a good thing she’s so cute, because I forgot just how difficult this puppy phase is!
