FIET Training Begins Today!
Kicking off on November 12th, FIET training will prepare FMMI users for upcoming changes to the system as a result of the upgrade to S/4HANA. Training is available to all USDA employees, and we highly encourage all FMMI users to attend. Meet FIET Project key player, Linda Connolly!
How long have you been with USDA/FMS? I’ve been with UDSA/FMS for about 14 years. I started as a Branch Chief in USDA/FMS in August 2010. I became the Technical Innovation Services Division (TISD) Director in March 2015. In February 2024, I assumed the role of FMS Deputy Director.

What is your role in FMS? As the FMS Deputy Director, my role is to support the FMS Director in providing leadership and vision to manage and implement corporate financial management services and systems.
What is your role on the FIET Project? As the FMS Deputy Director, I serve as a FIET Steering Committee member and the Deputy Program Manager on the FIET project.

What are you most excited about regarding FIET or S/4HANA? I am most excited about implementing new technology to enhance the FMMI user experience for the customer.
How would your best friend describe you in three words? They would describe me as committed, generous, and a mentor.

Do you follow any sports teams? I love sports! I follow the New Orleans Saints (of course), the Pelicans, and LSU. WHO DAT!!!
Do you have any pets? Yes, one dog. You’ve probably heard Tucker in meetings demanding to be fed! 😊
