COPYRIGHT ROYALTY JUDGES SEEK COMMENTS ON MOTION FOR PARTIAL DISTRIBUTION OF 2012 CABLE ROYALTY FUNDS (79 FR 59306)

The Copyright Royalty Judges are soliciting comments on a motion by Phase I claimants for a partial (60 percent) distribution of 2012 cable royalty funds under section 801(b)(3)(C) of the Copyright Act. Phase I claimants are the Program Suppliers; the Canadian, Devotional, Joint Sports, and Music Claimants; the Commercial and Public Television Claimants; and National Public Radio. The judges also seek comments on any controversies among Phase I or Phase II claimants related to the funds. Phase II claimants are those who receive royalties within each Phase I category. Phase I claimants are the Program Suppliers and the Broadcaster, Devotional, Joint Sports, and Music Claimants. The judges also seek comments on any controversies among Phase I or Phase II claimants related to the funds. Phase II claimants are those who receive royalties within each Phase I category. COPYRIGHT ROYALTY JUDGES SEEK COMMENTS ON MOTION FOR PARTIAL DISTRIBUTION FROM 2013 DART SOUND RECORDINGS FUND (79 FR 60185)

The Copyright Royalty Judges are soliciting comments on a motion for a partial (98 percent) distribution of 2013 royalties from the Featured Recording Artists and Copyright Owners Subfunds of the DART Sound Recordings Fund. The Alliance of Artists and Recording Companies filed the motion on August 19, 2014, on behalf of itself and claimants with which it has reached settlements. Pursuant to section 801(b)(3)(C) of the Copyright Act, the judges seek comments about whether any claimant entitled to receive such royalty fees has a reasonable objection to the proposed distribution.
