COPYRIGHT ROYALTY JUDGES COMMENCE PROCEEDING TO DETERMINE ROYALTY RATES FOR DIGITAL PERFORMANCE OF SOUND RECORDINGS AND EPHEMERAL RECORDINGS (79 FR 412)

The Copyright Royalty Judges announce the commencement of a proceeding to determine reasonable rates and terms for certain digital performances of sound recordings and the making of ephemeral recordings under sections 112 and 114 of the Copyright Act for the period from January 1, 2016, through December 31, 2020.
