COPYRIGHT ROYALTY JUDGES ANNOUNCE PROCEEDING TO DETERMINE PHASE II DISTRIBUTION OF CABLE ROYALTIES FOR 2004–2009 (78 FR 50113)

 

The Copyright Royalty Judges announce the commencement of a proceeding to determine the Phase II distribution of royalties deposited under the statutory license in the Copyright Act allowing distant retransmission of over-the-air television and radio broadcast signals by cable system operators. The funds to be distributed are for the broadcast years 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. To participate in the proceeding, parties must file a petition and a $150 filing fee by September 16. The Copyright Royalty Judges announce the commencement of a proceeding to determine the Phase II distribution of royalties deposited under a statutory license in the Copyright Act allowing retransmission of over-the-air television broadcast stations by satellite carriers. The funds to be distributed are for the broadcast years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. To participate in the proceeding, parties must file a petition and a $150 filing fee by September 16.
