COPYRIGHT ROYALTY JUDGES SOLICIT COMMENTS ON MOTION FOR PARTIAL DISTRIBUTION OF 2010 SATELLITE ROYALTY FUNDS (77 FR 46526)
The Copyright Royalty Judges are soliciting comments on a motion by Phase I claimants for a partial (50 percent) distribution of the 2010 satellite royalty funds under section 801(b)(3)(C) of the Copyright Act. Phase I claimants are the Program Suppliers and the Broadcaster, Devotional, Joint Sports, and Music Claimants. The judges also seek comments on any controversies among Phase I or Phase II claimants related to the funds that would remain if partial distribution is granted. Phase II claimants are those who receive royalties within each Phase I category. Comments are due no later than September 4, 2012.
