Join Us on 5/18 for E-Governance and E-Voting in the Baltic States: A Foreign and Comparative Law Webinar

Join us tomorrow on Thursday, May 18th at 2:00 pm EDT for a Foreign and Comparative Law Webinar entitled "E-Governance and E-Voting in the Baltic States." This entry in the series will try to provide an overview of the development of the legal framework of e-Governance in Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia, which appear to be worldwide leaders in adopting Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in digital governance. It will also highlight the digital transformation in the Baltic States, including its key areas of e-government solutions, and government efforts to create a digital infrastructure and ecosystem for e-Governance; Innovative public e-services, and endeavors to ensure inclusiveness and accessibility to ‘any public services from anywhere at any time' while exploring the pros and cons of e-Voting, with special emphasis on Estonia, a pioneer of e-Voting and i-Voting; and provide statistics and references to the Baltic States’ performances and status on e-Governance and e-Voting on regional and global scales. This webinar will be presented by Legal Research Analyst, Iana Fremer.
