Congress.gov Notifications Shortened URLs for Search Result Pages on Congress.gov

Users can now access shortened URLs for Search Result Pages that are easier to share with colleagues and via social media.

After you perform a search using any search form, click on “Share/Save” at the top, right-hand side of the screen from the search results and a shortened URL will appear that can be copied. This URL may be saved as a bookmark or shared with colleagues or via social media. Short URLs are optimal for results within a single congress.

Full URLs are still available and durable from the address bar.
