The Library’s Thomas Jefferson Building and all exhibitions will be open for extended hours on Thursdays. Visitors are invited to enjoy happy hour drinks and food available for purchase in the Great Hall and the Jefferson Building’s beautiful architecture while immersing themselves in the Library’s exhibits, collections and programs.

Join Rare Book and Special Collections for a pop-up display of the Aramont Library, a modernist collection of fine bindings, first editions and livres d’artistes. The display will be followed by a moderated roundtable discussion featuring an artist, printer and publisher exploring how artists use, understand and approach the book.

Finding Pictures: Happy 100th Birthday, Victor A. Lundy!

In this virtual presentation, Donna Kacmar, FAIA, professor at the University of Houston, and editor of "Victor Lundy: Artist Architect", will share highlights from the collection in a discussion of Lundy’s “awareness of materiality and structural form, and his ability to design with light and evoke the spirit of the time.”
