Join Us on Thursday, August 18 at 2:00 PM EDT for a Foreign and Comparative Law Webinar on Turkish International Protection Law. According to the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Turkey hosts the largest number of refugees in the world. This presentation will provide an overview of the international protection and temporary protection framework in Turkish law, which governs the procedure for the granting of asylum in Turkey. The presentation will also explore some of the recent developments in the field, and give an overview of resources available for legal researchers who are working or are interested in this area of Turkish law and discuss some challenges they might face in their research. This webinar will be presented by foreign law specialist Kayahan Cantekin.
