Congress.gov Notifications Congress.gov Public Forum 2021 and Recent Enhancements Video

You are subscribed to Congress.gov Notifications from the Library of Congress.

The Library of Congress and our data partners have been hard at work improving Congress.gov and how Congress and the public can access legislative data. In case you are interested, we have put together a short four minute video that highlights the top ten recent enhancements inspired by congressional feedback. These new features have all been implemented over the last year, including a new citation tool, consolidating saved searches into a single email alert, and searching debates of Congress from the early 1900s.

In case you missed it, the Library also just hosted the second Congress.gov Public Forum, where we highlighted many of these recent updates, and some of the projects our data partners in the House, Senate and GPO are working on as well. It was a great discussion with some very interested public users. You can watch the full three hour Congress.gov Public Forum.

As always, Congressional feedback plays a central role in Congress.gov development.
