Copyright Royalty Judges Announce Determination on Rates in Web V Proceeding
Today, the Copyright Royalty Judges are announcing their final determination for webcasting royalty rates and terms in the Web V rate-setting proceeding for the years 2021–2025. The rates are available at www.crb.gov/rate.
The Judges are also delivering their complete written determination to the participants in the proceeding for their input regarding which portions, if any, contain confidential information that must be redacted from the version that will be released to the public.

July 26, 2021: Comments and objections due regarding proposed rates and terms for making and distributing phonorecords of nondramatic musical works under section 115 of the Copyright Act (86 FR 33601).
July 30, 2021: Comments and objections due regarding proposed rates and terms for the use of certain copyrighted works by certain public broadcasting entities for the period beginning January 1, 2023, and ending December 31, 2027 (86 FR 34674 and 86 FR 34676).
