Join Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden and celebrated documentarian Ken Burns as they announce the winner and runner-up of the 2020 Library of Congress Lavine/Ken Burns Prize for Film.

The hour-long program features a conversation with Dr. Hayden, Ken Burns and famed musician Wynton Marsalis along with excerpts from the six finalist films.

In 2019, the Library of Congress partnered with The Better Angels Society, Jonathan and Jeannie Lavine, and Ken Burns to establish an official prize of the Library of Congress recognizing excellence in American history documentary filmmaking in the model of Ken Burns.
