Summer Suffrage Challenge

1,000 pages for 100 years

A new challenge has arrived! Can you help us complete 1,000 pages this week (August 12-19) from "Suffrage: Women Fight for the Vote"?

Volunteer review is the crucial final step to complete pages so they can return to loc.gov for research use. Honor the legacy of five tireless suffrage advocates by helping meet our 1,000 page goal! Anyone can take part. Just register for an account to jump into review. If you’re new to this activity, read through our How-To Review guide before getting started.

Our suffrage campaign highlights the 100th anniversary of the 70 year battle for women's right to vote. Review pages to meet suffragists Susan B. Anthony, Mary Church Terrell, Carrie Chapman Catt, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Anna Dickinson! Engage with their personal letters, travel diaries, and organization ledgers to watch history unfold before your eyes.

We’ll track our daily progress on History Hub. Join us there to check the numbers and latest news. We hope you’ll also share what you find!
