The John W. Kluge Center invites you to Walter Isaacson on Changemakers Throughout History 

Walter Isaacson, acclaimed author, longtime President and CEO of the Aspen Institute, and Tulane University history professor, will be interviewed by Assistant Deputy Librarian Colleen Shogan.

The event will take place at 12:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, in room LJ-119 of the Library’s Thomas Jefferson Building, 10 First St. S.E., Washington, D.C. The event is free and open to the public.

Isaacson and Shogan will explore the lives of innovators, from Leonardo da Vinci to Steve Jobs, and how they changed the world. Isaacson will discuss the importance of innovation and curiousity, as well as the costs that sometimes come with those gifts. He is the author of biographies of da Vinci, Jobs, Benjamin Franklin, and Albert Einstein, among other works.
