COPYRIGHT ROYALTY JUDGES SOLICIT OBJECTIONS TO MOTIONS FOR FURTHER DISTRIBUTION OF 2004–09 CABLE AND SATELLITE ROYALTIES AND REQUEST COMMENTS ON ANY CONTROVERSIES RELATED TO SUCH DISTRIBUTION (76 FR 80969)

The Copyright Royalty Judges solicit objections to motions filed by Phase I claimants for further distributions of the 2004–09 cable and satellite royalty funds. In addition, the judges seek comments about the existence of Phase I and Phase II controversies with respect to the distribution of these royalty funds. In Phase I of the royalty distribution process, royalties are divided among representatives of the major categories of copyrightable content; at Phase II, they are divided among copyright owners within each category. CALENDAR

January 26, 2012: Due date for objections and comments regarding further distribution of 2004–09 cable and satellite royalties (76 FR 80969).

February 2, 2012: Deadline for submission of petitions to participate in rate proceeding for making of ephemeral recordings to be transmitted by entities that deliver sound recordings to business establishments (77 FR 133).
