Code Girls Reunite!
"What did you do in the war, mommy?"
VHP commemorated WAVES' wartime contributions with a "Code Girl’s Reunion." This past weekend, NBCs “Sunday Today with Willie Geist” aired a story about this historic event, and interviewed a few of these living legends. If you missed it, you can watch it, here.
The mission of the Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress American Folklife Center is to collect, preserve and make accessible the personal accounts of U.S. veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war.
