14th China International Healthcare Expo -- Join the delegation with the U.S. Commercial Service in Guangzhou
CIHE will be held in Guangzhou from Nov.27-29, 2014. U.S. Commercial Service will collaborate with the China Healthcare Association to organize various value-added activities for the U.S. firms to better understand the Chinese regulatory system and how to promote its products in the dietary supplements market.

The USDOC is organizing a business development mission to Egypt, Jordan and Israel, with an optional stop in the West Bank with the purpose of introducing representatives from U.S. firms and related trade associations to the region and to promote exports of U.S. healthcare products and services. Delegates will receive market briefings and participate in customized meetings with prospective partners. Targeted sectors include Maternal and child health needs, Medical equipment and supplies, including diagnostic, monitoring, and imaging equipment, Hospital and outpatient clinic design, Hospital management, E-health: healthcare management systems/software/network design, Laboratory and scientific equipment, Specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, wound care, and plastic surgery, Products and services for implementing quality standards and accreditation, Robotics, and Mobile clinics.

Introducing our team at Industry & Analysis! The Office of Health and Information Technology (OHIT) is dedicated to strengthening the global competitiveness of the U.S. health and information technology (IT) industries, by expanding their access to foreign markets and increasing U.S. exports.
We monitor business and economic trends in the health and IT industries and provide data on trade and global markets in these sectors. We use our industry knowledge to inform our analysis of trade policy worldwide, and to influence the development of U.S. trade policy in these sectors. We participate in formal trade negotiations and other bilateral and multilateral activities to advance trade opportunities for U.S. companies. We provide industry and policy expertise to other units of the International Trade Administration and the U.S. Government, and evaluate the impact of international economic and regulatory policies on U.S. manufacturers. We conduct webinars, give speeches, and prepare market research on the sectors covered by the office.
