Under the RE&EE Export Initiative (RE4I), launched in December 2010, an advisory committee of industry representatives was formed to examine programs and policies for U.S. manufacturers and service providers in the RE&EE sectors. The committee was chartered in 2011 and 2013, and each group of appointees presented their recommendations to the Secretary of Commerce. A third group of representatives, some of whom have served in the prior committees, will hold its first meeting, open to the public, on December 17 in Washington DC.
