What is the WVDEC?
The West Virginia District Export Council (DEC) is a volunteer organization that complements the export promotion work of the U.S Commercial Service by offering export mentoring, trade education and community outreach events.
What is the purpose of the WVDEC?
To contribute to West Virginia’s export growth by supporting local businesses through shared expertise.
Who are the WVDEC members?
- Experienced exporters
- Export service providers (Legal, marketing, logistics)
- Export facilitation providers from the local government
How can WVDEC members help West Virginia Companies?
The WV DEC members can share their unique expertise and experience with the exporting process. They may help you avoid mistakes, answer technical questions or share their “been there, done that” practical knowledge!
