India’s environmental technologies and clean energy markets generated a combined $27 billion in revenues in 2022. The United States exported $700 million in environmental technology goods to India in 2022, representing five percent of India’s environmental technology imports that year

Jordan: Yarmouk Water Utility Management Contract

The Government of Jordan is seeking a qualified international contractor to manage the operations of the Yarmouk Water Company. The contractor will oversee water supply management, infrastructure maintenance, customer service, and regulatory compliance. A strong track record in water utility management and the ability to improve operational efficiency are essential.

Morocco: EBRD-Financed Desalination Project
- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) intends to finance a desalination project in Morocco. Bank financing will be directed towards OCP SA, a joint-stock company which primarily produces fertilizer products. While the project’s primary focus is to meet the client’s industrial needs, additional project coverage will supply two nearby towns with drinking water.

Project Objectives: The project will lead to the construction of two desalination facilities. Each facility will require water distribution pipelines to connect to each locale’s central water reserves. More detailed procurement information will be available when the project passes review.
