Agribusiness: North American Neighbors Virtual Trade Event
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is recruiting qualified and export-ready U.S. food processors with a minimum of $1 million in sales to participate in the North American Neighbors Virtual Trade Event (VTE). This VTE will take place December 5-7, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. EST to 4:00 p.m. EST daily.

Trade Mission to Guyana
A few spots remain to join the 3rd annual trade mission to Guyana to learn about the fastest-growing, emerging market in South America.
Why Attend? Guyana’s economy is expected to grow by 38% thanks to “unparalleled” oil sector expansion, according to a forecast from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
$2 billion Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EXIM Bank to facilitate greater investment in the country. Sectors include but are not limited to infrastructure, including roads and bridges, energy, telecommunications, water treatment and sanitation, and agriculture.

Hong Kong: Cosmoprof Asia
After a 3-year hiatus, beauty supply mega trade show Cosmoprof Asia (https://www.cosmoprof-asia.com/) is returning to Hong Kong, and the U.S. Commercial Service is recruiting qualified buyers in Asia to participate in the event’s Buyer Program and to exhibit under the U.S. Pavilion for participating U.S. companies. Last year, Cosmoprof’s Buyer Program hosted 210 buyers from 30 countries and successfully conducted 1,300 meetings with exhibitors. This year, Cosmoprof Asia has partnered with the U.S. Commercial Service in Hong Kong to recruit key buyers from Australia, China, Dubai, India, Japan and South Korea to attend Cosmoprof. We would love to hear from U.S. companies that are exhibiting at this year’s show. For U.S. companies with at least 51% U.S. content who wish to join our Cosmoprof related activities.

FOOD STYLE - Kyushu, Japan

FOOD STYLE is an annual trade show held in the southern part of Japan, an event for those who want to develop sales channels in the food service and retail industries. This opportunity helps to connect with buyers and purchasing managers who want to differentiate their products from those of other companies. FOOD STYLE welcomes a wide range of exhibitors of food service-related products such as food, beverages, facilities, equipment, systems, and services. The event wil be held in collaboration with ATO Osaka / USDA.

Building on the momentum of the U.S. Chamber's successful GreenTech Business Delegation to the UAE in May, the Chamber, in close partnership with the UAE and U.S. Embassies, will lead a Business Delegation to COP28 in Dubai this winter.
By participating in the U.S. Chamber's Business Delegation to COP28, which is a U.S. Department of Commerce Certified Trade Mission, you will:
- Be invited to the premiere U.S. private sector event at COP28 on the evening of December 8th.
- Receive up-to-date information about thematic programming and opportunities at COP28 by participating in invitation-only informational webinars in the lead up to COP28.

Washington State CleanTech Mission to Japan
The state of WA will lead a CleanTech mission to Japan in February 2024. The program will include pitching opportunities to Japanese businesses and investors, bespoke B2B, networking, and exhibiting at Smart Energy Week in Tokyo from February 28 to March 1. Washington companies offering decarbonization, resource efficiency, energy storage, and circular economy solutions are most suitable for the mission.

Environmental Technologies Business Development Mission to India, March 4-8, 2024. Mission stops include Delhi and Mumbai with an optional stop on March 11, 2024 in Hyderabad or Chennai.
The objective for this mission is to support the U.S. vision to grow sustainable and secure clean energy markets in India by promoting U.S. exports and removing trade barriers. This trade mission will accelerate the adoption and deployment of energy and environmental solutions, helping India to meet its climate commitments and protect human health and the environment.
Best prospect sectors include: renewable energy, carbon capture, energy efficiency including green construction, smart grid and ICT solutions, critical infrastructure cybersecurity, energy and environmental infrastructure projects, climate disaster recovery solutions, electric vehicle and smart transportation technology, water and wastewater management, waste-to-energy, and more.

GDEI Education Trade Mission to South India

The U.S. Commercial Service in India, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State, EducationUSA Chennai Advising Center in India, is organizing an Education Trade Mission to promote U.S. higher education in Bengaluru and four southern Indian secondary markets - Mangaluru, Manipal, Kochi, and Coimbatore from February 12-20, 2024.
This trade mission is designed to help the mission participants:
- Attract Indian students to the United States
- Explore possible instituional collaborations and
- Partner with Study Abroad Counselors.
Participation in the mission will include the following:
- Pre-travel briefings;
- Market briefings by U.S. Consulate, Local Government officials and industry leaders;
- Pre-scheduled meetings with university heads/counselors, educational consultants;
- Student fairs in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Manipal, Kochi, and Coimbatore;
- Airport transfers and ground transportation in these cities; and
- University visits in all five stops.

U.S. Environmental Technologies Trade Mission to IFAT and Europe
The U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration is organizing a U.S. Environmental Technologies Business Development Mission to the IFAT environmental technologies trade show in Munich, Germany. The trade mission will start with an optional program from May 8-10 to Slovakia and the Czech Republic, followed by official trade mission programing during IFAT from May 13-15, 2024, in Munich, Germany.
This mission will promote U.S. exports in a range of environmental technology industries, including water and wastewater management, solid waste management and recycling, and air pollution monitoring and control. Participants will be connected with prospective partners, distributors, service providers, end-users, and foreign government decision makers who are seeking U.S. environmental solutions. Participating in an official U.S. industry delegation, rather than traveling to IFAT individually, will enhance the participants’ ability to secure key business and government meetings where applicable and to promote their goods and services to a wider, more targeted, audience.
