Mexico Infrastructure Conference

and Business Forum

June 15-17, 2022

Mexico is the first or second largest export destination for 27 U.S. States. Its $1.3 trillion economy is the 15th largest in the world and the second largest in Latin America.

With the aim of increasing the quality, scope and coverage of the country’s infrastructure, the Mexican government has committed to bring forth a number of flagship projects: the Maya Train, the Trans-Isthmus Corridor, the new airport system for Mexico City and its metropolitan area, and the Dos Bocas refinery.

The pandemic has also brought a new sense of purpose to infrastructure development (beyond improving connectivity and competitiveness) to reactivate the economy and generate employment.

A group of 68 projects worth an estimated $24.4 billion were announced as part of the Economic Reactivation Agreement in October and November 2020, and the Pacto Oaxaca Strategic Agenda for Southeast Mexico was launched in February 2021, with 36 additional projects--some of which will complement projects like the Maya Train and the Trans-Isthmus Corridor.

Following up on last year’s “Mexico Infrastructure” webinar series, we cordially invite you to join the Mexico Infrastructure Conference and Business Forum—the first in-person, infrastructure-focused event to be organized by the U.S. Commercial Service in Mexico in nearly three years.  Gain unique access to the latest developments on these projects and explore business collaboration opportunities with its main players.
