US Minority Trade Mission

May 15-21, 2022 Italy, Spain, and Portugal The United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA), and its U.S. Commercial Service is organizing an executive-led Minority-Business Focused Trade Mission (MBTM) to Southwestern Europe: Italy, Spain, and Portugal from Sunday, May 15, 2022, to Saturday, May 21, 2022.

The purpose of the mission is to provide opportunities for U.S. companies to access the Southwestern European regional market and increase U.S. exports to the European Union (EU) region by connecting U.S. firms and trade associations to pre-screened business prospects. Trade mission activities will be designed to target the export assistance needs of minority businesses.

These three European countries represent approximately 23% of the total European GDP, totaling over $3.1 trillion reaching a population of over 117 million. In 2020 U.S. exports to these markets reached over $34.4 billion.
