February 9-10 Virtual Advanced Manufacturing SummitThe National Electrical Manufacturer's Association (NEMA) will host a virtual Advanced Manufacturing Summit to grow U.S. leadership in International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)-based Standards and use more Advanced Manufacturing (AM) systems in newly industrialized countries. 

The Summit is part of NEMA’s effort to encourage U.S. leadership in IEC-based standards and the use of AM systems in industrialized countries.

European Union: The European Union is in the process of revising CE mark regulations, the Machine Products Regulation, and you have an opportunity to comment! To read details on the EU-proposed changes and comment, click HERE.


United Kingdom: UKCA is a new marking that applies to a range of products that often required the use of the CE Mark. If you’re selling goods in Great Britain that are subject to the CE marking, you will need to apply the UKCA marking beginning on 1 January 2023.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) finalized a new rule that will crack down on marketers who make false claims that their products are Made in the USA. Under the rule, marketers making unqualified Made in USA claims on labels should be able to prove that their products are “all or virtually all” made in the United States.  Review the Made in USA Rule here.
