Passenger Rail Technologies August 13, 2018, San Francisco, CA
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is hosting the Brazil
Passenger Rail Technologies Reverse Trade Mission. The event will bring senior
representatives from Brazil’s passenger railroad industry to the United States
for a ten day visit to familiarize them with U.S. technologies and equipment
for railway video monitoring, signaling and energy efficiency. The delegation
will be led by the National Association of Passenger Rail Operators
(ANPTrilhos) and will include representatives from the National
Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) and a number of passenger railway operating companies.
As part of the itinerary, USTDA will host a business briefing allowing the
delegates to share information with
U.S. companies on their equipment needs, upcoming projects, and
procurements related to the continuing development of Brazil’s passenger rail
network. U.S. companies will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the

Automechanika Frankfurt September 17-21,
2018, Frankfurt, Germany
Automechanika Frankfurt is one of
the most important trade fairs for the automotive aftermarket and has been
organized by Messe Frankfurt since 1971. Approximately 133,000 trade
visitors from 170 countries came to the last event to see the latest
developments on offer from 4,843 exhibitors. The trade fair takes place every
two years, alternating with the IAA, and will be celebrating its 25th
anniversary in 2018. The 25th Automechanika Frankfurt will include new
themes such as Classic Cars and REIFEN, which will be held simultaneously in
