STOPFakes.gov: Protect Your Intellectual Property

The STOPfakes.gov
Roadshow delivers critically important information about intellectual
property to the audience that needs it most – start-ups, entrepreneurs, small
and medium-sized businesses, independent creators, and inventors. The
information is presented by experts from multiple government agencies that deal
with intellectual property issues.
Participants will learn:
- How
to identify and protect intellectual property assets;
- The
mechanisms for obtaining IP protection in overseas markets and strategies
for determining where they should seek protection;
- How
to record their mark with Customs, with on-site help, in order to exclude
counterfeit goods from entering the United States;
- How
to combat counterfeits on international e-commerce sites;
- About
government resources available to help U.S. business with intellectual
property issues.

Market Opportunity Heatmaps: Available for Download 6/22

To better connect innovative U.S. exporters in the tech, cybersecurity, and telecommunications sectors to global opportunities, we surveyed U.S. embassy staff around the world to capture perceived opportunities in their markets. The results, to be published in our Market Opportunity Heatmaps, will allow U.S. companies to determine which technologies are most in-demand and where.
The heatmaps include one global summary, and individuals broken-out by subsector, including:

With booming investments in Smart City technologies across the ASEAN region, as well as one of the deepest mobile IT/data penetrations in the world, ConnecTech Asia is the best opportunity to connect with buyers from ASEAN and Asia-wide. Smart Cities Expo & World Congress - Barcelona, November 13-15, 2018

Smart City Expo and World Congress is among the largest events for Smart City technologies, designs, and IoT-enabled urban solutions. This year, SCEWC will focus on five main topics reflecting key issues facing modern cities: Digital Transformation, Urban Environment, Mobility, Governance & Finance, and Inclusive & Sharing Cities. The event attracted 18,500+ participants from 120+ countries in 2017 alone, and 2018 is expected to top these numbers by featuring 675+ exhibitors, 40,000 sqm of exhibition area, 420 industry-leading speakers, and 50+ organized networking events.
