According
to the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, the Saudi Arabian Government (SAG) is seeking
increased collaboration with the U.S. private sector in helping meet the
country’s water needs, which could amount to $50-$60 billion in projects over the next five years. The SAG
is interested in U.S. expertise and technologies related to the water sector (desalinization,
water and wastewater treatment plants, and distribution),
operations, project management, customer service, and privatization. The
government is also particularly interested in U.S. suppliers of water
conservation kits and smart meters. For more information on
