Dear U.S.Exporters:
In this month's newsletter, we are featuring information about Germany's environmental technologies sector, which reached $133 billion in 2015 and is projected to enjoy continued growth of around 6.6% annually. For an overview of doing business in Germany, please watch our video linked here, one in a series of export market videos available on our website. One way U.S. companies can take advantage of this marketplace is to participate in the IFAT 2018 show, taking place May 14-18, 2018 in Munich. IFAT is a leading venue for water, sewage, waste, and raw materials management. In 2016, the show attracted more than 136,000 visitors from 169 countries. For those planning to attend either as exhibitors or visitors, the U.S. Commercial Service is offering a pre-show marketing package to help generate interest in your products and technologies and position you for greater global success at the show. We will be offering a webinar featuring industry experts, a U.S. Exporter Profile (in English and German) on the U.S. Commercial Service Germany website, actionable market intelligence, and on-site support from our local U.S. Commercial Service industry specialist. On March
22, 2018 at 12:00pm ET/ 9:00am PT the U.S. Commercial Service will hold an
informational webinar on the implications of BREXIT on U.S. exports to the U.K.
and the E.U.
The United Kingdom has set March
29, 2019 as the official date for withdrawal from the European Union. The
UK Government has reached an uneasy internal political consensus that a
transition period of up to two years will be required after March 2019 to fully
implement the exit from the EU – a time period most observers view as
insufficient. Regardless of timelines and negotiating outcomes, this major
policy event will have potentially dramatic implications for American exporters
to Europe.
Presenters include officials from
the U.S. Commercial Service London office as well as the U.S. Mission to the
European Union.
Cost: $50. Register HERE for this 90 minute webinar.
