(December 11, 2017) SelectUSA and the Council of American States in Europe (CASE) recently hosted a “Set Up, Expand, and Succeed in the United States” seminar for 30 French companies planning to invest in the United States. We were joined by economic developers from 10 CASE member states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri, and South Carolina.

USPTO's #12DaysOfPatents

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is celebrating the holiday season with a a fun and festive Twitter campaign that celebrates intellectual property (IP) rights in the United States: #12DaysOfPatents.

The hashtag highlights different holiday-related patents from the USPTO archives. It also conveys the extent to which IP rights have shaped American life throughout history. From now until Christmas Day, check out #12DaysOfPatents and follow @uspto for year-round IP information (and cool graphics).
