Mark your calendars for the Brazil Road Show and these other global seminars to bring job-creating FDI to your city, county, state, region, or tribe!
On Tuesday, December 5, 2017, the U.S. Commercial Service (CS) Beijing and CS Shanghai will partner with the China New Energy International Alliance, part of the China National Energy Administration, to hold the 2017 SelectUSA China Renewable Energy Seminar in Suzhou, Zhejiang Province.
CS Shanghai and CS Beijing will work together with the Alliance to co-host the Seminar to connect U.S. economic development organizations (EDOs) with Chinese business investors, provide information on the U.S. investment climate to investors, and promote SelectUSA’s services for global companies.
Prior to the event, on Monday, December 4, CS Beijing and CS Shanghai will lead a site visit to GCL, China’s largest private power development operator.
The registration deadline is November 16.

The U.S. Commercial Service (CS) Western Japan and SelectUSA, in collaboration with local business partners, will hold seminars in Osaka and Nagoya to promote foreign direct investment (FDI) from Japan to the United States. The “Innovation in the USA” seminars will take place on January 24, 2018 in Osaka and January 25, 2018 in Nagoya. The event, solely intended for U.S. EDOs, will bring them together with Japanese business investors through seminars, networking, and one-on-one meetings.

Join us for the annual SelectUSA Manufacturing Forum at the Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) in Toronto on February 15, 2018. Designed by the U.S. Commerce Service (USCS) Toronto, the event will feature companies from the Canadian automotive and advanced manufacturing technology sectors. U.S. economic development organizations will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Canadian investors, hear about manufacturing from U.S. government officials, and take advantage of additional networking opportunities.

SelectUSA’s annual series, the Italy Investment Seminars, returns February 27 - March 1, 2018 in Turin, Vicenza, and Rome (cities subject to change). The event will bring U.S. EDOs together with Italian business investors through seminars, networking, and pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings. The annual Brazil Road Show returns March 5-9, 2018. The cities included are Recife, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Porto Alegre.
The Road Show will bring U.S. EDOs and service providers together with Brazilian business investors through half-day seminars, networking activities, and pre-arranged, one-on-one matchmaking sessions.
On November 16, 2017, SelectUSA will host a briefing webinar for U.S. EDOs and service providers interested in attending the Road Show.
