Submit Your SelectUSA Stories
The 2017 SelectUSA Investment Summit was an incredible success. Hosted by Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, the United States' top foreign direct investment (FDI) event was attended by more than 2,800 economic developers, international business investors, service providers, and other participants.
At the Summit, economic development organizations (EDOs) from every corner of the United States showcased what their states, territories, regions, and cities had to offer. SelectUSA's online matchmaking system recorded over 2,000 individual meetings between participants.
We are working hard to ensure that next year's Summit isn't just successful, but that it leads to more job-creating investment than ever. While these investments are often initiated via matchmaking meetings or on the floor of the Exhibition Hall, they are nurtured and ultimately realized at the local and state level.
So, we want to hear from you. If your organization made connections and found success at previous SelectUSA Investment Summits (2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017), we would love to feature your story in our Spotlight on EDOs series.

The SelectUSA team is seeking topic proposals for sessions at the upcoming Summit, which includes the Investment Academy, mainstage and breakout sessions, and more. Additionally, SelectUSA is eager to work with the U.S. economic development community to plan and promote collateral (during the Summit) and spin-off (after the Summit) events that bring international Summit participants to your state/territory, region, tribal community, or city.
