2018 SelectUSA Investment Summit: Conference Call Series, Call for Proposals, & Spin-Off Events
It's that time of year again, and it's an exciting one: time to gear up for the next SelectUSA Investment Summit! The first of SelectUSA's "Know Before You Go" conference call series is this Wednesday, September 20, at 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT.
This annual call series, geared toward U.S. economic development organizations (EDOs), provides potential attendees with information on the 2018 Summit. This week's call will focus on SelectUSA's call for proposals and collateral/spin-off events calendar, both of which are now live!

Submit Your Proposal
The SelectUSA team is seeking topic proposals for sessions at the upcoming Summit, which includes the Investment Academy, mainstage and breakout sessions, and more. Specifically, the team is looking for topics that reflect the most current, relevant, and innovative concepts in foreign direct investment (FDI).
Collateral/Spin-Off Events Hosted in Your State/Territory, Region, Tribal Community, or City
SelectUSA is eager to work with the U.S. economic development community to plan and promote collateral (during the Summit) and spin-off (after the Summit) events that bring international Summit participants to your state/territory, region, tribal community, or city. The dates for the SelectUSA Summit provide the perfect opportunity for spin-off events that take place during the last week of June (24-30), with ample travel time during the weekend in-between.
We encourage you to mobilize your teams and local networks in order to plan a program and attract Summit delegations to visit your region. SelectUSA is prepared to work with your organization in planning and promoting these events. Submit your event today!
