The SelectUSA Investment Summit is quickly approaching. With three months to go before the top foreign direct investment (FDI) event in the country brings companies and economic developers together, Summit programming and plans are solidifying around an exciting program.
The theme – "Grow with US" – will highlight the innovative business climate in the United States and feature investment opportunities from every corner of the country. We are lining up a roster of fantastic keynote speakers and panelists who will lay out a clear roadmap of how businesses of any size, and in any industry, can both benefit from and contribute to the U.S. economy – and grow with us.

SelectUSA hosts the "Know Before You Go" conference call series for U.S. economic development organizations (EDOs) interested in participating in the Investment Summit. These hour-long calls include the latest information on sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, instructions on how to submit Summit speaker or panel suggestions (Call for Proposals), the Collateral Events Calendar, and U.S. State & Local Night.
The next call call happens next Thursday, March 30, at 1:00 p.m. EDT / 10:00 a.m. PDT / 6:00 p.m. GMT

We are happy to announce that the Summit Digital Toolkit is ready to use! The kit provides Summit participants with suggested promotional content, graphics for social media and websites, and a list of key social media accounts and hashtags to use. Graphics are included in the download.

Lead Generation
More than 7,800 leads were generated at the 2016 Summit, largely as a result of the corresponding events around the Summit.

On March 13, President Donald Trump issued an Executive Order on the reorganization of the executive branch. The Order calls on the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to "propose a plan to reorganize governmental functions and eliminate unnecessary agencies." Additionally, the Order seeks input from the public on what efficiency improvements can be made.
While the open comment period has not yet opened, we encourage you to regularly check the Federal Register's OMB page to submit your suggestions when the period begins.
