Global Investment Trends Monitor Report: The United States is the Top Destination for FDI
Last week, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) released its latest Global Investment Trends Monitor Report. Among the key findings: the United States was (again) the top destination for global foreign direct investment (FDI).
Excerpt from the latest UNCTAD report
Despite a 13 percent decrease in global FDI flows in 2016, the United States saw an increase of 11 percent, bringing total inflows to $385 billion (representing a quarter of total global FDI flows).
