North Dakota Exports Up 2% in 2016
North Dakota exported $3,95 billion in 2016, a 2% increase over 2015, attributed mostly to more oil going through Canada. Without oil, North Dakota's exports decreased by 13.73% in 2016. For full details on ND's 2016 exports, click here

2017 FedEx Small Business Grant Contest
The FedEx Small Business Grant Contest is a grant program by FedEx to award ten small businesses with grants up to $25,000 and up to $7,500 in FedEx Office print and business services. The entry period for the contest is February 21 - March 29. For contest rules and more information, please visit www.fedex.com/grantcontest.

Turkey Raising Import Duties
Turkey has raised the import duties on a wide range of products. The U.S. Commercial Service has heard from many U.S. companies that have been negatively impacted by these tariff increases. If you currently export to Turkey and would like to know if your product(s) are impacted, contact Heather Ranck at Heather.Ranck@trade.gov and provide your HS code.

Patient Day: Saving Lives Through American Innovation
In March 2017, 19 U.S. Commercial Service offices around the world will host Patient Day programs, where foreign government regulators and high level officials will see the personal impact of U.S. medical technology has on their local population. Patient Day will provide marketing partners with valuable exposure to and engagement with foreign government regulators and other critical decision makers.
