Fargo-based Red River Commodities Expanding North
Fargo-based Red River Commodities is opening a new trading company in Winkler, Manitoba. The new company will be named Red River Global Ingredients and will focus on specialty crops.

Scholarship Fund Scamming U.S. Educational Institutions 
A phony organization going by the name World Climate Change Challenge has been offering access to UN climate change scholarships for U.S. educational institutions, for a fee of $750. This is a complete scam, with over 100 colleges in the United States being defrauded. For more information please see the notice posted here.

Closing European Operations
Hanjin Shipping Company plans to close its European operations, in the latest sign that South Korea’s largest shipping company is headed toward liquidation. Hanjin has applied for court approval to close all 10 of its business operations in Europe, including its regional headquarters in Germany. The decision is part of a breakup process Hanjin kicked off earlier this month.

New Holland Agriculture to Acquire Kongskilde
New Holland Agriculture has an agreement to take over the Kongskilde brand. Kongskilde is a Danish company that specializes in tillage and hay and forage equipment. The acquisition includes two plants in Europe, one in Poland and one in Sweden.
