#MFGmonth concludes, the manufacturing conversation continues

To celebrate #MFGmonth, we partnered with our friends at the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) and Manufacturing USA for a two-part guest blog series.

MEP's National Accounts Manager, Mark Schmit, writes about his experience on Manufacturing Day in Rockford, IL at the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association's How Manufacturing Drives the Economy event. Mark shares some keen (and often amusing) insights into the future of the sector. Manufacturing USA's Director of the Advanced National Program Office, Mike Molnar, explains why Manufacturing USA, the new public brand of the National Network for Manufacturing Innovation, was renamed and the many opportunities that this program offers manufacturers.

#MFGmonth may be coming to an end, but the manufacturing conversation happens year-round. Follow our MEP and Manufacturing USA friends on Twitter and stay in the conversation with #mfg.
