WCCO Belting, Inc. Receives Top National Exporting Honor
On May 16, 2016, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker awarded WCCO Belting, Inc. with the Presidents "E" Star Award for Exports. The Wahpeton, North Dakota based company received the highest exporting honor any U.S. company can receive for making an impact to expand U.S. exports. It was the first time any North Dakota company received the award, which recognizes companies for their continued excellence in exporting. To read more about this major accomplishment, click here.

Palmer Bit Co. Drills Down and Finds Export Gold

Palmer Bit Co., in Williston, North Dakota manufactures drill bits for Geothermal, Geo Technical, water well, seismic and mining drilling purposes. The company has made a few international sales over the years, but in late 2015 company owner Kevin Christensen decided to get more pro-active about exporting and enrolled in ExporTech. Top Market Series: Aircraft Parts
This report provides an update to the 2015 Aircraft Parts Top Markets Report issued by the International Trade Administration (ITA), U.S. Department of Commerce in May 2015. This update includes a revised ranking of the top markets based on more recent trade data, an analysis of recent changes that affect the international competitiveness of U.S. suppliers of aircraft parts, updates to five country case studies from the previous report (Canada, China, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Singapore) and the inclusion of two additional country case studies (Australia and Brazil).

Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement: Likely Impact On the U.S. Economy
To see a comprehensive economic analysis on TPP and how it may impact the U.S. economy, click here. The report was done by the International Trade Commission, an independent, quasi judicial federal agency with broad investigative responsibilities on matters of trade.

For the third consecutive year, the Department of Commerce's U.S. Commercial Service will organize a U.S. Pavilion at POWER-GEN Europe. HydroVision International

The HydroVision International show is the premier international trade and education conference dedicated to the hydro power industry sector.
