BPHC Program Updates Wrap-up
See the slides from last week’s BPHC Program Updates webcast (PDF). Here are some highlights:
-
2024 Uniform Data System patient-level (UDS+) reporting
We announced an extension of the calendar year 2024 Uniform Data System patient-level (UDS+) data reporting. UDS+ submissions are now due on Friday, May 30.
Health centers can register for the UDS+ submission by completing a UDS+ Profile and Attestation form in the Health Center Program Community (HCPC)*. These forms should be completed by Monday, April 7.
*If you’re not already registered for the HCPC, visit the registration page to sign up. If you try logging in but discover you’re not registered, click on the “Request Access” link on the Login page.
TOMORROW! Learn more at a UDS Test Cooperative (UTC) meeting:
Wednesday, March 5 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET
To join the UTC and access this and ongoing monthly meetings, send us your name and email address via the BPHC Contact Form (Uniform Data System > UDS Modernization > Join the UDS Test Cooperative). Learn more about the UTC on our website.

Operational Site Visits
We will be conducting Operational Site Visits (OSVs) this month. If your health center was impacted by the pause in OSVs, we have been, or will be, in touch to reschedule your OSV. We intend to conduct OSVs scheduled after Tuesday, April 1, as originally planned and are exploring options for flexible approaches (hybrid) and formats.
-
Service Area Competition (SAC) and Budget Period Progress Report (BPR) continuation funding
We expect to release SAC/BPR (continuation) awards on or around the remaining fiscal year (FY) 2025 health center budget period start dates of April 1, May 1, and June 1. We anticipate providing partial (up to six months) funding due to our operating under a current continuing resolution.
-
FY 2025 new BPHC funding opportunities and awards (e.g. NAP)
As the federal government is operating under a continuing resolution at this time, there are no announcements regarding FY 2025 funding opportunities or awards.
-
FY 2025 supplemental awards (for example, Expanded Hours and Behavioral Health Service Expansion)
Funding beyond the first year is subject to the availability of appropriated funds, satisfactory progress, and a decision that continued funding would be in the federal government's best interest.
The next BPHC Program Updates webcast is planned for 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 25.
